A little bit of EXCITEMENT today!!
Hello everyone! I just thoght I would share this little tidbit with you all. I went shopping on my lunch break and I bought a shirt that was 2 sizes smaller than I wore 1 month ago. I tried it on and I squealed in the dressing room. Those salesgirls probably thought I was crazy! I wasn't going to buy anything just yet, but I couldn't resist. Everything in my closet is hanging on me, and I thought for Mother's Day I might just have a new outfit to wear!! Dionne
I share your joy! The consignment store in Guthrie that used to be here is one of my favorite places to go. When I hit size 14 in there, I rushed out and told the owner I needed someone to celebrate with. She laughed along with me. I cry in dressing rooms regularly because of good things not bad ones now.
Dionne,
That is fantastic! I can't wait to be right there with you . It must of felt amazing! Keep up the great work!
You deserve it ! Have a great day and a great weekend! I bet you will look great in your new outfit!! Now when you get all those compliments on mothers day you will be glad you bought it! lol Karla
You deserve it ! Have a great day and a great weekend! I bet you will look great in your new outfit!! Now when you get all those compliments on mothers day you will be glad you bought it! lol Karla That's awesome! I know what you mean. I had surgery on March 12th and at that time I was wearing size 5X tops (now a 3X is a little large) I was wearing size 34 pants and now I have on jean capris today at work that are a 24!!! It is awesome. Soon, I won't have to shop at the Avenue or Catherines where they rob you because they are bigger.... Your new outfit will make you feel good about yourself. I am taking a lot of clothes to a consignment shop on the south side of OKC that I can't wear anymore. I use to hang on to them when I was "dieting" because I might need them again and usually did sooner than later. I don't plan to ever need them again. I know about the store that moved to Guthrie but the one I'm going to take mine to is called "Big City Woman on 1117 SW 59th St., OKC. Just a thought for when you're ready to get rid of some of your too big clothes. I wish we had some kind of swap place so we could trade out and not spend so much money on clothes we can only wear for a short time. You have to have some things especially if you work!!
Congrats!!! Debbie
